OpenSolaris is first and foremost an Open Source project, a community, and operating systems.

This afternoon will be dedicated to operating systems derived from the project:

A few hours to understand the breadth of the work and passion that make an OpenSolaris distribution possible.

A few hours to understand what those offshoots are bringing to the whole community.

And a few more hours to exchange ideas with the four ambassadors of four distributions from three different continents.

Installfest: Bring your
own laptop and install an OpenSolaris distribution

After a whole day of learning about it, you'll want to do one thing: try OpenSolaris!

With expert help, come and install one of the distribution on your laptop or even your server.
